Stillness
In this vast world of billions strong,
Each heart beats to its own silent song—
Wounds unseen and battles braved,
Sorrows deep, yet not erased.
You hold the ache behind your gaze,
A storm within, with a silent haze.
Smiles worn like fragile armor,
While emptiness grows ever darker.
You stack the silence, stone by stone,
A fortress made to stand alone.
Invisible, you start to drown—
Yet in the dark, a light breaks down.
A whisper slips through shadow’s veil,
A kindred soul upon the trail—
A flicker soft, yet burning bright,
A voice that says, “I see your fight.”
The war within is not yet done,
But you are not the only one.
Find your circle, feel the ground—
You are not lost, nor ever drowned.
And when you rise, as rise you will,
With steady hands and iron will—
That final breath, the battle won,
Will cry aloud: “I’m not alone.”
